We have often heard the saying, “it takes twenty years to become an overnight success”. But, what does success really mean? Success isn’t about wealth or power but rather about achieving one’s goals and accomplishing a purpose.
Awareness is everything and it can open doors to a new world of possibilities. Earl Nightingale once said, “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.”
We can sabotage ourselves by thinking we have to be worthy of the idea but, in reality, the idea has to be worthy of us. Here’s a question that everyone should be able to answer: what is the primary cause of our results? Most people feel that they can’t get the results they desire because of their circumstances. That’s simply not true.
Changing your attitude can change the quality of your life. Your attitude is the culmination of your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions. Think about what you think about. Your thoughts create your feelings, which then make you act. As you tune in to your emotions, you will find that you always create an action with the same energy. Good thoughts, and good feelings, equal good actions. Don’t measure your success against anyone else’s. Any person who knows what they are doing and where they are going is a success.
